Helen Lurye is an artist living in Miami whose work embraces the city’s vivacious energy and cultural diversity, finding inspiration in its vibrant art scene and the natural beauty that surrounds her. Inspired by sun-drenched beaches, warm Gulfstream waters, and diverse wildlife, she weaves these elements into her creations, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in the splendor of Florida.

Helen's paintings on canvas, collages and mixed-media art amplify this connection to Florida by incorporating various elements and textures, and creating tactile experiences. She has developed a unique artistic style characterized by her affinity for bright colors and her ability to create stunning graphic art exclusively in black and white.

Helen’s artistic journey has been shaped by her educational experiences, including her time at the prestigious New York Fashion Institute of Technology and Winchester School of Arts, United Kingdom, where she honed her skills and developed a keen eye for detail and composition.

One of Helen’s greatest joys as an artist is seeing her creations grace the covers of books, magazines, and writing journals, including titles like “The Simplify Your Life Quote Book” and “Reflections on Life” by Allen Klein, the novels “A Vegetariana” by Han Kang and “Les Aubes Ecarlates” by Leonora Miano, “The Expended Family Life Cycle” by Monica McGoldrick and many others, totaling to more than 20 titles.

In all her works, the artist challenges ordinary perspectives of reality by creating art through her own idiosyncratic view of our beautiful and dynamic world.
